BEIJING/WASHINGTON (Reuters) – Chinese Vice Foreign Minister Le Yucheng met U.S. special envoy for North Korea Stephen Biegun on Friday, China’s foreign ministry stated, Biegun’s second top-level conference in Beijing in two days amidst growing stress on the Korean peninsula.

North Korea has performed a series of weapons tests in recent weeks and some professionals state the reclusive state might be getting ready for an intercontinental ballistic rocket test soon.
