Regarding the concerns currently dealing with America, previous Acting Migration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) Director Tom Homan kept in mind on Monday that there will be a coronavirus vaccine, “but there’s no vaccine for the increasing crime in Democrat-controlled cities.”

Homan likewise noted on “ Fox & Friends” on Monday that President Trump “constructed the greatest economy in the history of this nation and he ‘d do it once again.”

Homan made the comments following another night of violence in Portland, Ore. On Sunday, Portland authorities stated a riot at the city’s North Precinct after officers reported that protesters tossed rocks and bottles and shined lasers in their instructions.

A fire burned an awning at the city’s north precinct late Sunday, news outlets reported. The tear gas was supposedly released after the fire had been set.

The latest discontent follows a violent protest Saturday that was lastly separated by federal authorities from a plaza near a federal building as dueling demonstrations in Portland by conservative and left-wing protesters turned violent and 14 were jailed.

Homan stated protesters in Portland are “out there breaking laws every night due to the fact that there is no system of consequence, there’s no system of deterrence due to the fact that the Democratic political leaders, whether it’s the mayor or governor, have handcuffed the police.”

He likewise kept in mind that the “prosecutor over there is not prosecuting low-level criminal activities.”

” Let the police officer really do their job, they can end this stuff, however that’s not happening since you got a mayor that do not let them do their job, you got a guv that don’t believe there is a problem and you got a prosecutor that refuses to prosecute,” Homan stated.

President Trump prompted leaders in Oregon once again to request federal assistance to stop the violence on Saturday after city Mayor Ted Wheeler and Gov. Kate Brown, both Democrats, criticized his choice to release troops to the city to protect federal residential or commercial property in July.

On Monday, Homan stated he thinks “this ought to be front and center” at the Republican Politician National Convention, which will kick off later on in the day.

” This is a failure of the Democrat celebration, Democrat governors and Democrat mayors and it’s not a coincidence every one of these cities began out as a sanctuary city that strolled away from migration enforcement years earlier,” Homan stated. ” So it actually wasn’t about migration, it was about strolling away from law enforcement.”

He added, “This is a winning message for this president due to the fact that he’s an order president, unlike Joe Biden.”

Homan worried that “our streets are safer due to the fact that of President Donald Trump. You can’t take that away from him. He has done more to protect our border than any president in my lifetime, stone-cold fact.”

He stated if ” Joe Biden wins the presidency, we lose the border.”

” President Trump has got illegal migration down 60 to 85%, depending on what month you look at due to the fact that of the actions he’s taken,” Homan stated, adding that “The Biden effect is already occurring.”

He noted that “crossings last month are up over 40%,” including that ” many of them are sent out back to Mexico since of COVID, but 40%more people tried to get in this nation last month.”

Homan then described why he believes there has actually been a boost in people trying to cross the border and get into the U.S.

” They see in the news Biden’s going to win the presidency, he’s going to provide complimentary health care, he’s not going to deport, even put a moratorium on deportations. He’s only going to deport those who dedicate felonies. He supports sanctuary cities and eliminating ICE,” Homan said.

Fox News’ Edmund DeMarche and The Associated Press contributed to this report.
