US News Man in reindeer slippers tries to take lady’s wheelchair

A man in Arizona using reindeer slippers managed to ‘dash’ away from this scene– however law enforcement reached him anyhow.

Austin Shurbutt, 26, was arrested in December after being seen on a monitoring video trying to take a female’s wheelchair out from below her while onboard a train in Phoenix, police say.

Authorities credited “hero travelers” on the light rail for coming to the lady’s rescue and Shurbutt was caught after thousands shared his picture online.

” Despite his reindeer slippers, this bad guy was NOT spreading out vacation cheer,” the Phoenix Authorities Department stated, while likewise noting that Shurbutt “was still using the reindeer slippers when he was detained.”

Some bank burglars wear wigs. Others placed on masks. This one, investigators state, apparently made little effort to conceal his identity.

Michael Harrell, 54, was jailed in August after buying a teller to hand over money from a U.S. Bank area in Cleveland– utilizing a note that had his full name and address on it, the FBI states. It supposedly was written on the back of a document from the Ohio Bureau of Motor Automobiles.

The teller described Harrell by his name and gave him an unidentified quantity of money prior to calling 911, according to detectives. He was nabbed a couple of days later.

Unsurprisingly, an FBI representative at the time stated “when you present a note that has your name currently on it, and address, it assists police tremendously.”

US News Guy caught driving taken SUV on way to bail out sibling likewise apprehended for stealing SUV

Cops working this case must have felt some serious déjà vu.

A guy in Kansas was detained in November for driving a taken SUV to bail out his sibling, who had been imprisoned just hours earlier for stealing a different SUV, authorities said.

The first sibling caught was 36- year-old Eric Dean McCracken. He was jailed for driving a Chevy Pioneer with a suspended license, the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office said. Police then revealed they found out the SUV had actually been reported taken.

Hours later, his younger sibling, 32- year-old Keith Ray McCracken, was apprehended after leading deputies on a short chase in a stolen 2015 Chevy Silverado that authorities were tracking through its GPS, the constable’s workplace stated.

” It is thought that the more youthful McCracken was en route to the Jackson County Prison to publish bail on his older brother in a stolen vehicle,” it included. They considering that were reunited in the prison.

He then returned about 3 hours later– this time, to ask for a job application. The male apparently left the shop after that encounter with 2 more pairs of sunglasses, according to the newspaper.

The suspect– whose task application status wasn’t clear– was cited for the alleged thefts. Cops said they recuperated the items.

South Carolina cops in June charged a lady in Walhalla with public intoxication after she allegedly was discovered travelling down the roadway in a silver Power Wheels truck not far from her home, reports stated.

Cops said 25- year-old Megan Holman prevented a DUI charge due to the fact that her mode of transport was a toy, not a lorry, according to BuzzFeed News.

3 ladies obviously didn’t get that idea in August when they were caught on camera allegedly taking an infant stroller from a New Jersey store– just to be busted after one of them forgot their child inside the shop.

2 of the women had sidetracked a worker at the Middletown store while the third woman went to the front to grab a stroller, police stated. The women left the shop, but among them left some precious cargo– her own kid.

Investigators later on detained at least 2 of the women and the taken stroller was returned.
