The Dallas Cops Department said in a press release that the event happened at 11: 55 p.m. on the 3400 block of Chicago Street in Dallas.
The 3 unidentified suspects approached the front lawn where guests were socializing and tried to rob them at gunpoint. Two of the suspects had pistols, cops told FOX4 Dallas-Fort Worth
An unnamed male, who was a certified pistol provider going to the home, drew his weapon and shot one suspect, police said in the release. The 2 other suspects left and remain at-large.
The wounded suspect was hurried to a health center, where he later passed away, police stated. The suspect was not immediately determined.
The 25- year-old male who shot the burglary suspect was launched after an interview with investigators.
The case is being described a Dallas County grand jury.
The state constitution guarantees every Texan the right to “keep and bear arms in the lawful defense of himself or the state,” but permits legislators to control how firearms are carried in order to avoid criminal offense.
