A 60- year-old New York City City man died in a health center Friday, 3 days after unknown suspect completely beat him, demanding cash while he strolled down a Bronx street early Christmas Eve morning, cops stated Saturday.
6 assailants punched, kicked and stomped on Juan Fresnada as he attempted to keep his partner, Byron Caceres, 29, safe from the aggressors who robbed him of $1, ABC News reported.
” My spouse attempted to defend me,” Caceres told The New York Post. “The man had his fist ready like he was prepared to assault me. My spouse said, ‘Don’t you get near to him.'”

Caceres stated Fresnada told him to escape.
” They were beating him for 10 or 15 minutes,” he said. “I returned and found him on the floor. He was breathing greatly and bleeding from his head.”
The beating was captured on monitoring video but no suspects have been arrested, ABC reported.
” He looks after me,” Caceres stated. “He’s extremely calm and I’m the one who is stressed out all the time.”
He told The Daily News he didn’t think the attack was a hate criminal activity.
