A New Mexico lady was fatally shot after presumably stumbling upon a break-in while playing Pokémon Go with her sweetheart Friday night, authorities stated.
Cayla Campos, 21, was driving with her boyfriend near Bianchetti Park in Albuquerque just prior to midnight, playing the popular video game, when the couple supposedly saw the crime unfolding

Campos rapidly tried to repel, but the perpetrators fired several shots into her automobile, KOB reported. She was hit in the back of the neck and consequently crashed into a neighboring house, cops stated. She was later pronounced dead at the University of New Mexico Health Center. It wasn’t right away clear if Campos’ partner, who was not totally identified by authorities, was injured in the shooting or crash.

The woman’s dad wrote on Facebook that Campos “was killed in cold blood.”
” Anybody that knew her knows we lost an extremely special individual. You’ll never leave my mind infant! I do not know how to live without you,” the father, Carl Campos, stated.
The 21- year-old’s friend, Cody Bell, informed KRGE Campos “was just a remarkable person. She was my closest good friend. I am simply ravaged that she is gone.”

” Her and her boyfriend constantly make a loop around this park before they go home and play Pokemon Go due to the fact that their apartment is actually right there,” Bell stated.
