In March 2018, Haley Anderson was a nursing student at Binghamton University. At the time, much of her schoolmates were disappearing on spring break, but Anderson did not.
” This is a real bookworm, 22- year-old Haley Anderson, who had actually decided to remain on campus over spring break so she might study,” stated Grace on Fox Nation’s ” Crime Stories.”
Family and good friends explained Anderson as an independent individual, who was full of spirit and had a very active social life. One of Anderson’s buddies was Orlando Tercero, a 23- year-old fellow student at the university’s Decker School of Nursing.

But while Tercero was apparently fascinated with Anderson, she remained in an on-again, off-again relationship with somebody else.
” I smell a love triangle,” stated Grace. ” Where there’s a love triangle, there’s a problem.”
Anderson published a Snapchat video 6 months prior to she went missing out on, revealing that somebody had slashed the tires on her vehicle. It happened after she had gone to a party at Tercero’s house, where Tercero found out that her on-again, off-again relationship was on-again.

” Her roommates only began to get worried when she does not appear at a planned poetry reading session,” stated Grace. “They believed that was odd, but then she stopped posting on social media.”
That was when Anderson’s friends actually took notice.
” Let’s bear in mind, these are young, millennial kids, everyone– and I mean everyone– is greatly reliant upon their phone,” stated Joseph Scott Morgan, identified scholar of used forensics at Jacksonville State University. “It’s with us all over we go. And she’s engaged in social networks. So when she kind of disappears off of this, it starts them thinking.”
” Instantly these kids begin believing, how can I track her down using her phone?” stated Morgan. “And naturally, in the end, it ends up pinpointing her exact place.”
” Her friends do the Discover My Pal app. I’ve got it on my phone,” included Grace, “I can see where I am, my spouse and my twins are.”
” They track her phone to the home,” Grace continued, “While his pals think whatever’s fine. Her buddy … says, ‘no other way’. They actually climb a tree to check out the apartment or condo and they see Haley’s body lying there, pale.”
Police instantly transferred to question Tercero, however he was gone. Authorities stated that he fled to Nicaragua quickly before Anderson’s body was discovered.
