A sergeant with the Fort Bend County Sheriff’s Workplace in Texas was twice targeted this week with Molotov mixed drinks thrown at his home, investigators said.
The first attack unfolded Monday night at the sergeant’s home in a neighborhood simply west of Houston, the sheriff’s workplace wrote in a press release
Somebody tossed a Molotov cocktail at the sergeant’s home and struck a window.

The sergeant awoke to discover part of his home on fire, the Houston Chronicle reported No one was hurt.
Then, around 3 a.m. Sunday, a 2nd Bomb was tossed at the exact same house, hitting a parked vehicle that ended up being “engulfed in flames,” the constable’s workplace stated.
” This is a dangerous video game individuals are playing,” Fort Bend Sheriff Troy Nehls stated. “It’s frightening. It’s sad and we’re on top of this investigation.”
Monitoring video from around the time of the 2nd occurrence showed a car of interest. It seemed a design black F-250 with a ladder rack. The driver could be seen wearing blue denims, white tennis shoes and a baseball cap.
Nehls stated the sergeant– who has not been publicly determined– worked break-in and homicide investigations for the sheriff’s office.
He included that private investigators will take a look at the sergeant’s previous cases to determine whether the arsons were dedicated in retaliation.
The Fort Bend County Constable’s Office was using a cash reward of up to $10,000 for any info leading to an arrest.
