The St. Louis County Prosecuting Lawyer’s Office charged Eric Moore Jr., 26, of St. Louis, with second-degree murder, burglary and armed criminal action, according to a news release from St. Louis County police.
Moore organized via text messages to pay $60 to a prostitute and met her at a St. Louis motel on Saturday, the probable cause statement stated. He then presumably gave the cash to another woman in exchange for the sex act and at one point, Moore got distressed over the absence of time that he was being given with the woman of the street and demanded the cash back, court documents showed.

At the time, Moore and three women remained in the motel room, according to the probable-cause statement, which included that he then pulled out a weapon and required the cash back from among the women in the space.
The woman returned the money, court documents said.
Because the ladies were shrieking, one of the ladies’s sweethearts, Darren Woods, who was in an adjacent room, came into the space Moore remained in and was then shot a number of times, consisting of several times in the head, the probable-cause declaration continued. Woods died at the scene.
Police stated the females in the room recognized Moore, who had actually left the motel after the shooting. Cops later jailed him at a house he showed his mother, according to court documents.
A gun was recovered from the home, investigators said, adding that ballistic evaluation revealed the gun matched the shell cases found at the criminal offense scene.
When investigators interviewed Moore, he confessed he took out a weapon to get the cash back from the lady and confessed he fired the shots that eliminated Woods, the probable-cause statement stated.
Moore was being hung on $300,000 bond.
