Chicago alderman Anthony Napolitano appeared on “ Tucker Carlson Tonight” and discussed what the city might do to stop the violence.
” The primary step is absolutely take President Trump’s help. If you do not desire the feds on the street, have them work the warrants, infiltrate the gangs, execute RICO charges, go after the drugs. We have 117,000 gang members on the street. Hit them where it harms, in the cash,” Napolitano said Wednesday. “The second thing we need to do is, is we need we require a state’s lawyer here that’s really going to push criminal charges. Our state’s lawyer today commemorates the catch and release process. It’s eliminating us over here.”
CHICAGO COPS CAUTIONED ABOUT POSSIBILITY OF SHOOTING: REPORT
” We have actually got to survive this anti-police movement and we need to, you know, hold responsible all law enforcement officers that are bad but praise the ones that are doing great work out there. These men haven’t had an agreement in 3 years,” Napolitano included.
Chicago is currently experiencing an uptick in gun violence that has seen lots of people shot daily. On Tuesday, shooting appeared outside a funeral home on the city’s South Side that saw 15 people injured. Hours later on, a 3-year-old lady was shot in the head. She was expected to survive.
Napolitano contacted Chicago voters to hold authorities liable.
” We have a large quiet majority here. As an elected official. The only one I speak with is that is the vocal … extreme socialists here in Chicago,” Napolitano stated. “We have a sleeping giant majority that requires to stand and hold the rest of these elected authorities accountable. And you have what they desire. You have their vote. Make them do something about this. We require aid. Let them bring the feds in and help us out. We need to save the city.”
The alderman stated Trump and the upcoming governmental election are getting in the way of stopping the violence in his city, adding that he feels Mayor Lori Lightfoot might be open to getting federal help.

” They do not wish to let the president aid since when it’s a success and we bring criminal offense down, they’re scared he is going to appear like a success, it’s going to help his election,” Napolitano stated. “We’ve got to get rid of that nonsense. We simply have to focus on conserving our city and conserving these lives due to the fact that we’re losing lives at an astronomical rate. It’s unfair. It’s unfair to these neighborhoods.”
