Democrat presidential candidates hold 63 million Americans who voted for President Donald Trump in contempt, Rep. Steve Scalise (R-LA) observed Friday during an interview with Alex Marlow, host of SiriusXM’s Breitbart News Daily

Scalise stated, “They have ridicule. It’s not just for President Trump; it’s for the 63 million Americans who chose President Trump, the forgotten males and females, people in the Rust Belt who have actually been left behind by the liberal elites in Washington.”

LISTEN:

Scalise included, “You listened to all individuals on the stage last night. I didn’t even [need to] watch the argument last night to know that none of them have had any record of success on any of these concerns. Their economic plans would wreck what is the best economy in the whole world.”

The United States-Mexico-Canada Contract (USMCA) was an enhancement over the previous status quo of the North American Free Trade Act (NAFTA), mentioned Scalise.

” President Trump went and worked out a better offer with Mexico and a much better deal with Canada,” Scalise said. “Barack Obama couldn’t get a much better handle any of our allies because they kept making the most of us. You take a look at what happened in NATO. President Trump was available in and made our NATO allies, they’re buddies, but they were benefiting from us. They weren’t paying their reasonable share of 2 percent of their GDP that every nation consented to after World War II. President Trump finally has them stepping up and doing more of their part.”

Scalise continued, “If you do not like NAFTA, this is a much better offer than NAFTA, and if you like NAFTA, this is a better offer than NAFTA. The president went and negotiated an actually bargain for American employees. The real win is for American workers, who are going to get well over 160,00 0 new jobs in our economy right off the bat. Plus you get the ability to sell products in nations like Canada that you could not sell [before].”

Scalise went on. “The larger message is for everybody else around the globe; it states that we can close offers. The president can go and negotiate a better offer, but till Congress ratifies it, it doesn’t happen. Pelosi ought to’ve had this on the [House] floor 6 months back. It would’ve passed extremely like it did the other day, but she held it up because of her obsession with impeaching him, like she’s held up numerous other things that matter to households.”

” For China, yesterday, this was not an excellent day,” concluded Scalise, explaining American trade offers with Canada, Mexico, Japan, and European states as measures decreasing U.S. dependency on Chinese exports.

Breitbart News Daily broadcasts reside on SiriusXM Patriot 125 weekdays from 6: 00 a.m. to 9: 00 a.m. Eastern.
