In a Friday interview with MSNBC’s “Morning Joe,” House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) discussed releasing a formal impeachment query following a whistleblower problem declaring President Donald Trump prompted Ukraine President Volodymyr Zelensky to penetrate former Vice President Joe Biden.
Although Trump released a transcript from his call with Zelensky which did not reveal he sought to develop a quid professional quo with Ukraine, Pelosi implicated Trump of utilizing “taxpayer dollars to shake down” Ukraine for his own gain.
” I believe we need to remain focused as far as the public is worried on the reality that the president of the United States utilized taxpayer dollars to shake down the leader of another country for his own political gain,” Pelosi specified.
Pelosi went on to discuss how “proud” she is of Home Intelligence Committee chairman Adam Schiff (D-CA), who made a conversation between Trump and Zelensky during his opening declaration at a committee hearing on the matter the day before.
