House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) accused President Donald Trump of making “bogus grievances” Monday in his defense against your home Democrats’ partisan impeachment effort.
” The House can pass by our impeachment supervisors up until we understand what sort of trial the Senate will carry out,” Pelosi composed on social media, apparently to address criticisms of her refusing to move your home’s 2 impeachment articles to the Senate. ” President Trump obstructed his own witnesses and documents from the House, and from the American people, on bogus complaints about the House process. What is his excuse now?”

President Trump blocked his own witnesses and documents from your home, and from the American individuals, on counterfeit problems about your house process. What is his excuse now?

Pelosi’s claim followed a tweet by President Trump, in which he cautioned that resting on those short articles could cost House Democrats their majority.
” Pelosi offers us the most unfair trial in the history of the U.S. Congress, and now she is sobbing for fairness in the Senate, and breaking all guidelines while doing so. She lost Congress when, she will do it once again!” the president composed on Twitter.
Following Wednesday’s impeachment vote, Pelosi was noncommittal about sending the posts, alleging that Senate Republicans would be ” neutral” jurors in a so-called unfair trial.
Senate Bulk Leader Mitch McConnell( R-KY) on Monday knocked Pelosi for the delay and demanded that she “quit the charades” with regard to the procedures.
” It seems to me a rather unreasonable position to state after you have actually impeached the president you will not send out the papers over to the Senate for the impeachment trial mandated by the Constitution,” McConnell told Fox & Friends
” Let’s quit the charades– this is a political exercise,” he added. “All I’m asking … is that we deal with Trump the exact same method we did President Clinton.”
The Kentucky Republican then stated the Senate stays at an “impasse” till Pelosi transfers the articles.
” So, everybody delight in the vacations,” he added, prior to affirming the upper chamber stands ready to hold a trial.
