Politics Home Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) in 1998 blasted the impeachment process against previous President Costs Clinton as a circumstance where lawmakers were airing out “any and all grievances that anybody ever had with the president,” and accused Republicans of “speaking about impeachment without even specifying what the laws might have been that were broken.”
A clip of Pelosi from 1998 includes the lawmaker slamming the impeachment efforts versus Clinton, using much of the exact same arguments that Home Democrats are actively overlooking in their pursuit of impeachment versus President Trump.
She said in the clip:

Likewise, a flashback clip of Joe Biden (D) from the same year shows the then-senator caution Congress to be “really mindful” before disturbing the choice made by American voters.
