The president stated in a declaration, “While the difficulties that face our nation are terrific, the bonds that unite us as Americans are much stronger.”
” Together, we need to make every effort to cultivate a culture of deeper understanding and respect– qualities that exhibit the teachings of Christ,” Trump included.
President Trump’s remarks follow Home Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) and Democrats voting to impeach him, thinking that he obstructed Congress and abused the office of the presidency. Pelosi has waited on sending the articles of impeachment to the Senate, asserting that Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) would not perform a reasonable impeachment trial. The impeachment trial will not begin up until Speaker Pelosi sends the posts to the Senate.
President Trump has called the impeachment procedures against him a “scam” and contended that he was dealt with more unfairly than ” those implicated in the Salem Witch Trials.”
The president anticipated Monday that Speaker Pelosi will lose her Home majority after pursuing impeachment.
” Pelosi gives us the most unjust trial in the history of the U.S. Congress, and now she is sobbing for fairness in the Senate and breaking all guidelines while doing so,” Trump charged “She lost Congress as soon as; she will do it once again!”
In his Christmas message, the president applauded American service members “who continue to fight for our cherished liberties.”
” As leader in chief, I salute them for their service and thank their member of the family for their shared sacrifice in this worthy mission, particularly throughout the holiday,” he added.
” We hope your heart is filled with the love and delight of your faith, household, and good friends this Christmas. We send our finest want a Merry Christmas and a happy and flourishing Brand-new Year,” the president said.
