President Donald Trump stated Thursday that he did not want to alter the date of the election however once again alerted of the catastrophe that mail-in ballot would cause.
” No, do I wish to see a date modification? No,” Trump stated. “However I don’t want to see a jagged election. This election will be the most rigged election in history, if that happens.”
The president commented on the election throughout an interview at the White House on Thursday night. Earlier Thursday, he floated the idea of changing the date of the election, sending out the corporate media into a craze over his remarks.
The president does not have the Constitutional power to change the date of the election, which is set up for November 3, 2020.
However Trump walked that idea back, stating that his intent was to raise concerns about mail-in ballot.

He warned of a scenario in November where ballots would take weeks if not months to get counted, without any clear winner after election day.
” I don’t wish to see that occur in a week after Nov. 3, or a month, or honestly– with litigation and whatever else that can take place– years,” Trump stated.
He cautioned that hundreds of millions of universal mail-in ballots were being sent out, which would substantially make complex the election.
I don’t want to be waiting around for weeks and for months,” he said, caution of missing ballots on election day.
Trump stated he was in favor of absentee tallies.
