Sunday on CNN’s “Fareed Zakaria GPS,” previous Secretary of State Colin Powell knocked the Republican politician Celebration and President Donald Trump.
After describing himself as a “moderate Republican,” Powell criticized the GOP and described U.S. diplomacy as being in “disarray” under Trump.
” The Republican Party has actually got to get a grip on itself,” Powell stated. “Today, Republican leaders and members of the Congress, in both the Senate and in your home, are holding back since they’re terrified of what will happen to any one of them if they speak up. Will they lose a main? I do not know why that’s such a catastrophe, but will they lose a primary?”
” And so, they need to get a grip, and when they see things that are not right, they require to state something about it since our foreign policy is in disarray right now in my humble judgment,” he continued.
