Congressional Black Caucus Chair Rep. Karen Bass (D-CA) on Thursday accused President Donald Trump of “answering” to Russia President Vladimir Putin instead of the American people.
Bass criticized Trump, who she said “had nerve enough” to demand Ukraine for dirt on previous Vice President Joe Biden while the country was under attack from Russia.
” It’s simply incredibly inappropriate, I think it was prohibited,” Bass informed CNN’s “New Day.”
” However I likewise believe in the United States it’s kind of tough for us to picture the situation that this president is in,” she included. “And all of that compromises our nationwide security. However we do understand over the last 3 years, we understand who this president responses to, and it’s not the American people. It’s Putin.”
